SUMMARY
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs of plant machinery and equipment. Complete all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize plant delay time and maximize production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Exhibit superior safety practices every day evidenced by outstanding housekeeping at all times.

Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.

Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.

Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.

Exhibit superior safety practices at all times, evidenced by the continuous use of the proper personal protective equipment. Commitment to adhering to all company safety policies including lockout, confined spaces, and arc flash.

Exhibit outstanding housekeeping and organizational practices at all times.

Promote a team atmosphere, and extend treatment to all other employees of the company with the courtesy and the dignity shown to customers.

Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.

Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.

Maintain, adjust, repair, and rebuild machinery and equipment by interpreting machine drawings and parts diagrams, and applying the understanding of basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and motor control theory principles.

Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and operating difficulties.

Ability to identify parts required for repairs and write work orders regarding the task.

Work with manufacturers representatives and technicians to effect repairs beyond the capability of the plant.

Perform cutting, welding, fabrication, rigging, and drive component alignments.

Ability to work with hand and power tools, gauges, meters, and various specialty alignment tools.

Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
Requirements

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment including strong daily interaction with various associates and multiple levels within the manufacturing environment

Strong problem solving skills, self motivated, ability to work in a team or independently, have a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure, schedules, and deadlines

Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Additional
Currently accepting applications for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions.
Shift structure is based on four 10-hour days per week.
Experience and/or education of 3-5 years preferred.
